A Tour of Derry City Cemetery by Friends of Derry City Cemetery
The History from the Headstores Tour explores he History of the City of Derry, beginning with 'The Troubles,' 1981, The Hunger Strikes, Bloody Sunday Irish Republican Plot, WWI, WW2, Paupers' Plot, Victorian & Edwardian industry & commerce and Irish Politics.

Derry City Cemetery is a hill top site and progresses downhill leaving an uphill walk to the starting point. Not suitable with people with mobility problems. Suitable footwear should be considered when joining us on a tour as the weather is extremely changeable in Northern Ireland. A car can be made available or transport to the starting point for those in need.

There are two car entrances to the cemetery (with car parking facilities):

Entrance at Moor Road

Entrance at Creggan Gate

And a pedestrian gate at Kildrum Gardens
